HAZARD LEVELS

  • LEVEL 1: CLEAR

    Clear water originates from springs, wells, or rain. If exposed to it by inhalation, ingestion, or through skin, it does not cause harm to humans.

  • LEVEL 2: GREY

    Grey water is household wastewater discharge from laundry, showering, or seepage. It does not contain toxic chemicals or excrement and can be recycled on site for flushing and laundry due to low levels of containments. If consumed or exposed to, it may potentially cause discomfort or sickness.

  • LEVEL 3: BLACK

    Black water is water containing high concentration of organic matter and bacteria. Typically generated from sewage, river floods, and surface water, it needs to be treated appropriately by biological and chemical methods. This category of water , if consumed, can cause serious illness or death.
